Kelly Bayer Rosmarin has a track record of delivering results whilst growing and operating large global businesses. Her most recent role was the CEO of Optus. Prior, Kelly was with Commonwealth Bank of Australia where she held several senior positions. She also spent time as a management consultant, in enterprise software, and in a high-growth start-up. Kelly currently serves on the Board of the REA Group and has previously served on many boards / advisory committees . Kelly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and Engineering Management, and a Master of Science in Management Science from Stanford University. She has been named amongst the Top 25 Women in Asia Pacific Finance, the Top 10 Businesswomen in Australia, the 50 Most Powerful Women in Australian Business, Top 10 Global 5G Leaders, and Top 3 Tech CEO’s in Australia.

As CEO of Australia’s second largest telecommunications company Optus, Kelly Bayer-Rosmarin is one of Australia’s most influential leaders in the development, uptake and use of technology and its impact on society. Soon after graduating from Stanford in Industrial Engineering and Management, Kelly moved to Australia. During 9 years at CBA she led technological innovation including the development and roll out of the Albert mobile payment device. She is a member of the UNSW Engineering Deans Advisory Committee where she ideated and then championed the MakerGames student initiative which won an AFR Innovation Award.
